Dance performance for babies and adults “Kaow Kome – The story of rice that nurtures life”

A new baby theater born from the encounter of Thai and Japanese cultures. The world felt by the small body expands greatly, connecting with a distant world.

Bambino!, selected for the 2025 Kyoto Art Center Co-program Category A “Co-production”, is an international co-production baby theater work by Thai and Japanese artists using performing arts from 0 years old.

Where does rice come from?

Our “first meal” – rice.

Just like a baby grows healthily, the process of life sprouting in the soil and growing big is depicted through gentle dance and sound. A baby theater that feels the original landscape of Asia by Japanese and Thai artists. Open your five senses and go on a story-telling journey that touches on prayers for life and growth.

It’s okay if your child cries or gets fussy during the performance. Please relax and enjoy your first theater experience.

Breastfeeding and diaper changing are available at the venue. Please come and enjoy the “Baby Theater,” where babies and those who live with them can experience and develop their ability to feel together.
